Our Garden

Our garden at the Bingham, is a unique tranquil riverside spot, where guests can wonder, children can play, or wedding guests can mingle.

Our dedicated gardener, John Tebbs of Finch Gardening has transformed the space into a modern English garden with three distinct areas. These include – an edible kitchen potager with a variety of unusual culinary plants and flowers; a long herbaceous border with grasses and plants that move to echo the river beyond; and a hidden seating area underneath a canopy of trees ideal for a romantic meeting or private dining experience, our Table by River.

Trained in design at the Chelsea Physic Garden, John works throughout South West London creating and maintaining gardens. His passion for naturalistic style planting with formal structure can be seen here at The Bingham.
