Flappers: Six Women of a Dangerous Generation £15 (including cocktail).  Author and Guardian Dance Critic, Judith Mackrell follows six women who exemplified the range and daring of a generation’s spirit. Michael Field: Flamboyant Aestheticism and Afternoon Tea Sunday 2 November – 4pm £25 (including Afternoon Tea) Celebrating the centenary of poet ‘Michael Field’, Dr Ana Vadillo, reveals the fascinating story of two women - Katharine Bradley (1846-1914) and her niece Edith Cooper (1862-1913) who worked together under the guise of the joint male pseudonym ‘Michael Field’ and who lived at the Bingham before their deaths in 1914. Melanie is The Poppy Factory’s very first Chief Executive and has created a strong vision for its modernisation. Since joining The Poppy Factory in 2010, Melanie has assisted 400 disabled veterans to get back to work. When not at The Poppy Factory, Melanie sits as Vice Chair and Executive Committee Member of the Confederation of Services Charities and is a Director of the Forces in Mind Trust. Yoga Supper ~ Cat Alip-Douglas, Sunday 30 Nov

Cat Alip-Douglas hosts a Yoga Supper in the Bingham's beautiful riverside Garden Rooms, a special event for experienced yogis or those just beginning to explore yoga to enjoy an inspiring class, and commune over delicous food. The evening will include a 2 hour yoga class including meditation followed by a delicious 3 course vegan supper, £50 per person. Book Online 10% of ticket sales will be donated to the Africa Yoga Project, a charity operating in Kenya dedicated to delivering all that yoga has to offer to the diverse communities of East Africa while at the same time providing opportunities for members of the global yoga community to participate and contribute, for mutual personal growth and development.
