Afternoon tea has been enjoyed in our drawing room, overlooking the river Thames, for over a century.
Afternoon tea dates back to 1840 and was introduced by the Duchess of Bedford to plug the gap between lunch and dinner and went on to become a fabulous, fashionable, social affair.
